How do I know which bank a UPI ID belongs to?
The handle (after @) tells you. @oksbi → SBI via GPay; @ybl → PhonePe; @paytm → Paytm Payments Bank; @okhdfcbank → HDFC via GPay. Our validator decodes the common ones.
Can I have multiple UPI IDs?
Yes — most apps let you create up to 5 VPAs across handles. Useful to separate personal vs business, or to test before committing to a primary handle.
What if a transfer goes to the wrong UPI ID?
Money transferred to a valid VPA cannot be auto-reversed. Contact your bank and the recipient bank within 3 days for a chargeback. UPI dispute resolution typically takes 7-15 days.
