How the score is weighted

We follow classical Vastu Shastra weighting: main entrance (25%), kitchen direction (20%), master bedroom (15%), toilet/bathroom placement (15%), pooja room (10%), staircase orientation (5%), and other rooms (10%). North-east is the most auspicious quadrant (Ishanya), south-west is for stability (Nairutya), and south-east is for fire elements like kitchen and electricals (Agneya).

Worked example

A 2-BHK in a Bengaluru apartment with east-facing main door (+25), south-east kitchen (+20), south-west master bedroom (+15) but a north-east toilet (−15) and pooja in the bedroom (−10) scores around 72/100 — Vastu-compliant overall, with the toilet being the costliest defect. Toilets in the north-east are believed to drain prosperity; a common remedy is to keep the door shut, use sea salt, and place a brass kalash in the actual north-east corner.
