Pediatric Vaccination Tracker

Personalised vaccination schedule per the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). Includes vaccines beyond the govt UIP schedule — Hep A, varicella, typhoid conjugate, PCV, influenza — that most Indian pediatricians recommend.

Enter your child's date of birth to see the personalised schedule.

UIP vs IAP — what's the difference?

The govt's Universal Immunisation Programme (UIP) covers ~10 vaccines free of cost. The IAP schedule adds Hep A, varicella, typhoid conjugate, PCV, influenza, HPV — recommended by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics for better protection. These extra vaccines are paid in private hospitals (typically ₹1,000-3,500 each).

Important reminders

  • Always consult your pediatrician — your child may need a modified schedule due to medical history.
  • Mild fever / illness can delay a dose by 2 weeks; severe illness requires a doctor's call.
  • Maintain a vaccination card and a digital record (Co-WIN now lets you track child immunisation).
  • Catch-up schedules exist if you've missed doses — speak to your pediatrician.

FAQ

IAP vs UIP — which schedule?

UIP: govt programme, free, basic vaccines (BCG, OPV, Hep-B, Penta, MMR, JE). IAP: private, includes more vaccines (HPV, Rotavirus, Pneumococcal, Hep-A, Influenza). Most paediatricians follow IAP.

When to start?

BCG within 24 hours of birth. OPV at birth + 6, 10, 14 weeks. Penta (5-in-1) at 6, 10, 14 weeks. Most vaccines complete by age 16 (HPV).

Catch-up if missed?

Yes — most paediatric vaccines have catch-up schedules. Best to consult your paediatrician for the right combo if vaccinations were missed for any reason.
